Man City's Caicedo attracts interest from Wigan, West Ham

Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo is attracting interest from Premier League rivals among other clubs.

The Ecuadorian is expected to be pushed down the pecking order if City secure the signing of Carlos Tevez after the arrival of Roque Santa Cruz, and it seems a move away from Eastlands could be a great option.

West Ham, Wigan and Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon are believed to be showing plenty of interest in the 20-year old whose agent has confirmed that clubs after his services.

"There is a huge amount of interest in Felipe across the world," agent Saif Rubie told skysports.com.

"There are offers on the table and we will look at all the scenarios when Felipe returns from holiday in Ecuador.

"At this point of his career Felipe wants to be playing regularly and he did very well when he was given the opportunity last season.

"Everyone knows Sporting Lisbon are ready to take Felipe as are other clubs in the Premier League and elsewhere in Europe and we will look at all options open to us before a decision.

"If a suitable offer arrives we will look at it, but if Manchester City want to keep him and offer Felipe a new deal he would consider that also.

"We will sit down and try and resolve Felipe's future very soon."
