Manchester City left-back Wayne Bridge is on the verge of signing with West Ham United after it was revealed he was in London for a medical.
The former Chelsea man has hardly been used by Roberto Mancini this season and the Italian confirmed the was taking a medical in the English capital.
"Bridge, I think today, is in London for a medical," Mancini said.
There were reports that Aston Villa were in the running for the England international but it seems that the Hammers are now in pole position.
