Manchester City left-back Wayne Bridge has rejected the chance to join Scottish giants Celtic on loan.
The 31-year old former England international is unlikely to be used regularly by Roberto Mancini this season but has decided to turn down the advances of Neil Lennon and the Hoops.
Bridge is down the pecking order at Etihad Stadium and subsequently spent part of last season on loan with West Ham United but it appears as though he will remain with City until at least January.
