Man City’s Bridge joins Sunderland on loan

Manchester City defender Wayne Bridge has joined Sunderland on loan.

The 31-year old left-back has headed to the Stadium of Light for the remainder of the season after being frozen out at City.

Bridge, who passed a medical today, had a similar loan spell with West Ham United last season and was impressive following stints with Southampton, Chelsea and a loan with Fulham in 2006.
