Man City's Boyata on his way back to Bolton

Dedryck Boyata is on his way back to Bolton as manager Owen Coyle is in desperate need of a fit full-back.

The 20-year old Manchester City defender has been back with his parent club receiving treatment on an ankle injury but Coyle needs him to return to his loan deal so he can use him at right-back for the Trotters.

"Dedryck is definitely on his way back," Coyle told the Bolton Evening News.

"I don't know if the Everton game (this Saturday) will be too quick. But we are hoping he's back training with us at full capacity by the end of the week."

He added: "We all saw prior to his injury how much he was coming on.

"He is destined for a big career and it will be great to get him back.

"The initial diagnosis was six to eight weeks. He is desperate to get involved and to play."
