Mario Balotelli's agent has re-iterated the point that the Manchester City striker will not be returning to play in Italy anytime soon.

The 21-year old talent is consistently linked with a move back to Italy's Serie A with former club Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus all being bandied around.

But Balotelli's representative Mino Raiola says there is no way the Azzurri ace will be back in his homeland in the near future.

"Maybe I have not been clear - Balotelli can't come back to Italy," Raiola told SportMediaset.

"Italian football's economic situation means that at the moment top players can't come to Italy.

"In football, nothing is impossible, but Mario hasn't spoken to me.

"He has no intention to come back. City and the coach are relying on him."
