Man City's Aguero rubbishes Villarreal claims of mocking opponents

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has denied claims that he mocked the Villarreal team after he scored a late winner last night.

The Argentine netted in the third minute of injury time as City came from behind to defeat the Spanish outfit 2-1 at Etihad Stadium but was criticised by Villarreal boss Jose Manuel Llaneza for his conduct during his celebration.

But Aguero later posted in his Twitter page that he feels he did nothing wrong even though Llaneza accused him of having a 'lack of respect, ethics and team spirit'.

"I have no interest in getting involved in controversies, but I have to deny having mocked a Villarreal player," Aguero wrote.

"Everyone can attest to my discipline and professionalism, I wouldn't do something like that."
