Man City's Adebayor believes Fabregas will leave Arsenal

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor is confident captain Cesc Fabregas will be the next Arsenal star to leave the club. The Togo international, who left the Gunners for City in the summer, has ruffled plenty of Arsenal feathers since his departure and has done so again with his most recent claims.

Adebayor believes midfield maestro Fabregas may exit north London if the Gunners fail to qualify for the Champions League and added that it is important to feel loved at a club, indicating that the skipper may not be at ease where he currently is.

"I think players like Fabregas will look to leave if they are not in the Champions League, but my focus is all on City now," Adebayor said.

"Football is more about kicking a ball and tackling. There is a connection between people, players, fans that takes it to the highest level.

"When that is missing, everything falls apart. You need to feel loved and that is what I feel at City."

This is just another chapter of the Adebayor 'sour-taste saga' that has seen him taunt Arsenal fans with a goal celebration at Eastlands after he stomped on former teammate Robin van Persie's face in the same game.
