David Pizarro is on the verge of departing Fiorentina with Manchester City or AS Roma both surprise possibilities.
The 33-year old Chilean midfielder spent time on loan with City during their successful 2011/12 campaign and also had close to six years with Roma and is being tipped to return to either club by his uncle Aurelio Cortez.
"Once David signed autographs with the number eight but now he has changed to ten as that is his number for Chile and his next club, I think Pellegrini's Manchester City or AS Roma," Cortez told El Mercurio.
