Manchester City are chasing Real Madrid midfielder Guti.
The Spain international could be available from Real following the arrival of mega-bucks signing Wesley Sneijder from Ajax.
Guti is seen as a long-term Tottenham target, however the Sunday Express says City are also set to move for the £5 million-rated midfielder.
