Manchester City are interested in Cagliari defender Davide Astori.
Italy international Astori is keen to move to England this summer and is a target for Southampton chairman Nico Cortese.
However, City are also interested, with coach Angelo Gregucci making a scouting check on Astori against Udinese last weekend.
