Manchester City are chasing Stuttgart striker Mario Gomez.
Bild says City, Real Madrid and Barcelona are competing for the Germany international ahead of the summer market.
Stuttgart rated Gomez at £40 million last summer and sports chief Jochen Schneider said: "This is the best German striker. The market value of Mario has not dropped, but increased."
