Manchester City are keeping tabs on Porto defender Bruno Alves.

O Jogo says City made a move for the Portugal international in January, but was frightened off by Porto's asking price.

Barcelona are also keen on Bruno, though City could have the inside running as Porto are unhappy with the way the Spanish club's pursuit has been played out in the media.
