Manchester City are reviving their interest in Juventus fullback Giorgio Chiellini.

The News of the World says Eastlands boss Sven Goran Eriksson was priced out of an earlier move for the Italian star when Juventus slapped a £10million price-tag on him.

But defender Chiellini, 23, has had a troublesome knee injury this season, so Eriksson hopes to get him for half that price in the summer.
