Manchester City have ruled out sending Phil Foden away on-loan next season.

Foden will not be going on loan this summer, says the Manchester Evening News. Foden is interesting Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United.

City boss Pep Guardiola has long been adamant that the 18-year-old's development is best served by working with him and the first team.

There was speculation the arrival of Guardiola confident Bielsa at Elland Road might change all that.

However, City management want to keep Foden close next season.
