Carlos Tevez was interviewed at his Cheshire home yesterday by Manchester City reps over last week's events in Munich.

The Daily Mail says Tevez's future at Manchester City hangs in the balance after he was interviewed at his Cheshire home yesterday over allegations that he refused to play in last week's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.

A club car carrying three passengers, believed to include a legal representative and a member of City's human resources staff, arrived at Tevez's house in Alderley Edge at about 4pm and left 80 minutes later.

The striker was quizzed about his claims that a misunderstanding with manager Roberto Mancini led to him staying on the bench at the Allianz Arena and that he did not refuse to go on as a substitute for Samir Nasri.

Tevez, who has been suspended for two weeks over the incident, will wait to find out if he is required to give further interviews before flying back to Argentina for a planned family visit.

City have informed Tevez they expect to make a final decision on Friday.
