Manchester City remain keen on Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz.

The Daily Mail says City have other targets with Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez expected to join when he returns from World Cup duty with Argentina this week and an offer on the table for Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko.

Santa Cruz fits the profile that City boss Mark Hughes wants with Premier League experience. But Hughes has reservations about his fitness and whether he represents value for money.

Arsenal and Tottenham have also enquired but the Paraguay star wants to go to City and Blackburn know City will give a better price.
