Manchester City and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on AS Roma defender Marquinhos.
The 18 year-old has attracted formal enquiries from both European giants this month, but Roma management are refusing to consider his sale.
City boss Roberto Mancini has received glowing reports on Marquinhos, as has football chief Txiki Begiristain via his Brazilian network.
