Man City ready to compete with Real Madrid for Neymar (and he welcomes it)

Manchester City are prepared to compete with Real Madrid for PSG star Neymar.

The Marca says City are ready to battle Real Madrid for the signature of Neymar.

Despite only signing for Paris Saint-Germain at the start of the season Neymar is unhappy in the French capital and is already considering his future options.

PSG parted with £198m last summer, making the 25-year-old the most expensive player of all time, however Neymar is already pushing for a move away.

Real Madrid had been favourites to secure his signature however it is reported Neymar has doubts over a move to Madrid, acknowledging he would be a 'controversial signing' because of his links with Barcelona.

Neymar believes he would have 'more fun' in the Premier League than he currently is having in France and would be open to a move.
