Manchester City are ready to sell Micah Richards to Tottenham for £7 million.

The Daily Star says City boss Roberto Mancini is willing to sell the defender, 21, this summer.

Mancini said on Monday that City will not consider selling their best players in the close season.

But it appears that Richards is one of the stars he is prepared to let go for the right price.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is keen on taking Richards to White Hart Lane, as he looks to boost his squad ahead of their first crack at Champions League football.
