Manchester City are ready to bid for Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker.
The Sun says City are set to make a £40 million bid for Walker this week.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has Walker, 26, in his sights after lashing out £43m for Monaco playmaker Bernardo Silva on Friday.
Guardiola is looking at his full-back areas after allowing Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna, Jesus Navas and Gael Clichy to leave on free transfers.
Tottenham and England star Walker is his top choice for the right-hand side, while Monaco's French international Benjamin Mendy, 22, is wanted for the other flank.
Walker has been a key part of Spurs' title challenges in the last two seasons and has also established himself in the England squad.
