Man City ready to offload high-profile trio

Manchester City are set for three high-profile sales.

The Manchester Evening News says Benjani Mwaruwari, Valeri Bojinov and Elano are all set to be moved out by City boss Mark Hughes.

Benjani is wanted back at Portsmouth, Bojinov is a target for Lazio and Elano has several offers on the table, including from AC Milan.

elano's name coming up is a bit of a surprise, but i remember reading something about him being disruptive in the dressing room.

Sell Benjani and Bojinov but why Elano? Poor City...they don't understand their own players and the meaning of patience.

TotalFootballMadness - You're a mile out! He's had plenty of chances to settle in. Why is it that City fans are so poor at judging our own players. It is blatently obvious Elano has got talent. But Playing one good game in every 4 is just not good enough. None of the 'top 4' clubs have to carry a player like this for the games that he doesn't turn up for. He's had his chance and has blown it. Its time to move forward. Barry, Ireland and De Jong are our 3 first choice midfielders now. Let Elano go and good luck to him!
