Manchester City are eyeing Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan as an alternative for Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Daily Mail says City will consider a fresh move for Forlan should they fail to seal a £25m deal for Adebayor.
The Arsenal striker's representatives have held talks with City but there is still some difference on personal terms. Barcelona are keen also on Forlan but Atletico want around £30m.
