Manchester City are rivaling Real Madrid and Bayern Munich for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. The Daily Star Sunday says City have emerged as shock contenders in the fight to grab Liverpool's wantaway striker Suarez for £40million.

City have abandoned their chase for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani and are set to switch their attention to fellow Uruguayan Suarez, 26, who is also a target for former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez at Napoli.
