Manchester City have prepared a bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

Sheikh Mansour has a star-studded summer shopping list in front of him, with Cesc figuring prominently in next season's plans.

The Daily Star says City are intent on backing manager Roberto Mancini and have already put aside a whopping £50m to lure Fabregas from the Emirates, ­although, if the Spaniard was to leave north London, a move to ­Barcelona seems more likely.
