Barcelona fear a hostile bid from Manchester City for young winger Gerard Deulofeu. The Spanish whiz is regarded the best young player at Barca and his contract carries a buyout clause of €10 million.

City chiefs Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain know all about Deulofeu, having watched him develop when they were in charge of Barca.

AS says City are now set to meet the player's buyout clause in an attempt to bring him to England this month.
