Schalke chief Christian Heidel expects movement this week over Leroy Sane's sale.
The Germany attacker is a €50 million target for Manchester City.
Heidel admits both clubs hope to find common ground this week so they can crack on with their transfer plans.
"Like us, Manchester City also must think about itself, as both teams have to take into account the further planning in the transfer market," he explained.
City have managed to talk down Schalke from €55 million to €50 million, but want SO4 to go further.
They're threatening to wait until next summer, when Sane's buyout clause drops to €34 million, says Marca.
