Manchester City have sent young midfielder Divine Yelsarmba Naah to Saint Etienne.
The 18 year-old Ghanaian is currently trialling with Saint Etienne with the view to joining the Ligue 1 club on-loan to the end of the season.
Naah spent the last Norwegian season with Strømsgodset, where managed just one appearance and featured more prominently for the club's reserve-team.
His arrival at Saint Etienne is seen as a first development in a planned partnership with City, which could lead to more loanees arriving in future.
City currently have young striker Marcos Lopes playing on-loan with Lille.
