Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini aims to strengthen his defence with a double raid on Porto. The Sunday Mirror says City have been monitoring Porto central defensive duo Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi.
Pellegrini wanted to bring in Mangala last summer, only for City to baulk at Porto's £34million asking price.
Mangala has also been targeted by Chelsea and has just signed a deal that will see him represented by the same agent as Jose Mourinho.
Otamendi, a 26-year-old Argentina international, is valued at £25m.
