Manchester City are prepared to double the wages of West Brom defender Jonny Evans in order to bring him to Etihad Stadium.
The Mirror claims that City plan to make a £22m bid for the player and offer him £140,000-a-week wages.
City boss Pep Guardiola thinks that 29-year-old will add depth to his squad and will also help the club comply with the homegrown player rule.
City also intend to offload £42m flop Eliaquim Mangala this summer with Inter Milan interested in his services.
