Talk of a power struggle inside Manchester City is emerging.
The Daily Mail says there has been a calm around Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City this season after the continual turbulence surrounding Roberto Mancini's regime.
However, there are claims of a power battle developing between the camp of Spanish chief executive Ferran Soriano and those loyal to non-executive director Simon Pearce, the most important link with the club's Abu Dhabi owners.
A City spokesperson strongly denied any split, saying Pearce and Soriano had an excellent working relationship.
