Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini admits he is considering making an alteration to his Champions League squad.
Talented Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho is currently out of the 25 for Europe's top competition as City have already used their quota of 17 foreign players but the situation is being assessed as Frenchman Samir Nasri continues to recover from the injury that has sidelined him since October.
Pellegrini admits that he is thinking about what he can do to change his playing group for the knockout stage of the Champions League and has indicated that this scenario is certainly a possibility.
"I have not decided yet but we are thinking about that," said the Chilean.
"We are going to have the report of the doctor one day before we must send the new list of the Champions League and then we will decide."
City, who face Dynamo Kiev in the Round of 16 beginning on February 24, are required to submit their squad list to UEFA by February 2.
