Man City ponder shock offer for Ronaldo

Manchester City are weighing up a shock move for off contract AC Milan striker Ronaldo.

The Telegraph says City are considering offering a contract to Brazilian striker Ronaldo, according to reports in South America.

The 31-year-old is a free agent after his contract with Milan expired at the end of last season and he is searching for a new club.

Ronaldo, who has scored 62 goals for Brazil in an illustrious career, is currently in Spain recovering from surgery to a serious knee injury.

If Manchester City wanted to sign the Brazilian they would have to meet his wage demands of around £6.5million a year. However, according to the website Globoesportes, sources close to Ronaldo have said that the English club has sounded out Ronaldo about a move.
