Manchester City boss Mark Hughes doesn't accept their dismal form is due to players being worried about their futures ahead of the January market.

"Well there shouldn't be an issue there but maybe players are possibly being affected by that. I haven't seen it in their play but as a professional footballer you've got to put that to the back of your mind. You need to be strong mentally and take up the challenge. If you do that then the future at Manchester City will be there for you but it's difficult for everybody at the moment," he told City's website.
