Manchester City defender Kolo Toure is facing a club fine over his drugs ban, it has been revealed.

The People says Toure is involved in a bitter stand-off with Manchester City as the Premier League ­leaders attempt to fine the star for his drugs ban - EIGHT months after the offence.

It's thought senior club officials rather than Mancini are behind the move to discipline defender Toure.

Several players - including his brother Yaya - are furious that the club has suddenly now decided to take action.
