Man City plan mega bid for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves

Manchester City are launching a bid for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

The Sun says City have identified Neves as the man they want to shore up their midfield.

Pep Guardiola was left red-faced when he missed out on top target Jorginho in the summer with the Italian instead joining up with Chelsea.

The Spanish boss believes he is a little light in midfield and hopes to plug the gap with Neves in January.

The Portuguese, 21, has had a decent start to life in the Premier League, convincing Guardiola he has what it takes to make it in City's midfield.

He has been dubbed the Portuguese Andrea Pirlo, with City keen to utilise him in a holding role.
