Man City plan massive £40M Pogba offer

Manchester City are preparing a massive offer for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. The Mirror says the French youngster, who moved to Turin from City's local rivals Manchester United, would likely cost in the region of £40million after impressing in Serie A recently.

Pogba has two years left on his contract but it is believed that he would relish the chance to link up with Patrick Vieira, the head of City's elite development set-up. The former Arsenal midfielder was a boyhood hero of Pogba's.

A product of the Le Havre youth system, Pogba was snapped up by Manchester United in 2009.
