Patrick Vieira faces being released by Manchester City.
The Guardian says the former Arsenal player is on the list of free agents City have submitted to the Premier League, although it is still possible he may be offered another year-long deal later in the summer, depending on the club's transfer business.
In the meantime, 34-year-old Vieira is considering several offers elsewhere.
