Manchester City number two Brian Kidd has paid tribute to Chelsea following the London clubs success in last season's Champions League final.
The Blues defeated German giants Bayern Munich in a penalty shootout at Allianz Arena on Saturday night to clinch the title against the odds and Kidd suggests it is a good lesson for his club to work harder to gain improvement to be competitive in Europe's premier club competition.
"All credit to Chelsea, who I believe haven't got the credit they deserve. They went and had a game plan against Barcelona which was fantastic, and to go to Bayern [Munich] into their area and get a result was incredible.""I think what we can take from it is the desire to improve. If you feel that in different areas you can improve and learn from it that's the key," he told talkSPORT.
