Manchester City teammates Gelson Fernandes and Vedran Corluka could come face-to-face during this month's Euro2008.

If co-hosts Switzerland and Croatia qualify from their respective groups, it raises the chance of a meeting between City team mates Corluka and Fernandes in the quarter finals.

Of that Croatia fullback Corluka told City Mag: "We have spoken about the championships and he's told me Switzerland are also in a very tough group.

"Gelson has wished me luck and wants me to do well and I want him to do the best he can too, unless, of course Switzerland are playing Croatia!"
