Manchester City pair Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne are attending a Barcelona hospital as part of their injury recovery.
The Daily Mail says De Bruyne was widely expected in Spain for specialist treatment after the Belgium star damaged a hamstring in Saturday's Premier League win at Swansea which is set to keep him out of action for four weeks.
But he was joined on the flight to Barcelona on Monday by Kompany who limped off against the South Wales club in City's EFL Cup win at the Liberty Stadium three days earlier after suffering a groin injury late in the game.
It was the latest in a catalogue of muscle problems for Kompany who was making his first appearance in nearly five months since tearing a thigh muscle in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid in May.
The 30-year-old City skipper was sent to see renowned surgeon Dr Ramon Cugat at the Quironsalud hospital on that occasion and is expected to be treated there again, as well as visiting Dr Eduardo Mauri at the nearby Quiron Hospital.
