Garry Cook is set to be handed improved terms at Manchester City.

Cook, who sacked Mark Hughes halfway through the season, has had an up-and-down spell as figurehead of the Abu Dhabi-based owners. But with City qualifying for the Europa League next season, they have been impressed enough to want to keep him in charge for the "foreseeable future".
