Manchester City's new owners have assured fans of a massive January market.

Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim revealed: "We started negotiating to buy some more players but the transfer window was our last chance to sign Robinho.

"We were able to obtain him and we were lucky to be able to do that.

"The opportunity to buy players for the club is now closed but there will be other chances in the second part of the season."
