The owners of Manchester City have been linked with a takeover of Valencia.

The famous Spanish giants are in a financially precarious position and Cadena SER reports representatives of City's Dubai owners visited Valencia officials this week to express tentative interest in buying the club.

City have already entered a partnership with the New York Yankees to establish a club in the USA's MLS.

Talks with Valencia will depend on UEFA and whether Sheikh Mansour can own two potential Champions League participants.
