Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor may have gaffed turning down PSG last month.
The Daily Star Sunday says PSG are now one of the wealthiest clubs in Europe after major investment from Qatar and are trying to clinch a £40million deal with Palermo in Italy for Argentine whizz kid Javier Pastore, 22.
They have also switched their striker sights to Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov, 30.
The Paris club were prepared to pay £14m for former Arsenal centre-forward Adebayor, 27.
But the Togo star has been holding out for a move to Real Madrid, where he was on loan.
Meanwhile, he has been on the receiving end of banter from his City team-mates who point out he might have been too quick to dismiss the delights on offer in the city of Paris!
