Manchester City are wrapping up a deal for Parma midfielder McDonald Mariga.

The Sunday Mirror says Roberto Mancini will make his first cash signing as Manchester City manager tomorrow with the £7million purchase of Parma's Mariga.

City have agreed terms with the powerful Kenyan midfielder and have sealed a deal with Parma that will also see £4m-rated striker Valerei Bojinov sign a permanent deal with the Italian club after spending the last four months on loan.

A hearing to secure the 22-year-old a work permit has been arranged for tomorrow.
