Micah Richards and Manchester City have reportedly opened talks regarding a new contract.
The Telegraph suggests that City will offer the 24-year old full-back a four-year deal to remain at the Etihad Stadium.
Richards signed a new deal in the summer of 2011 but is expected to have that extended until the end of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
The England international is anticipated to follow Sergio Aguero, Gael Clichy and Yaya Toure in committing himself to the club for the long-term.
