Man City open Real Madrid talks for £25M Pepe

Manchester City are chasing Real Madrid defender Pepe. The Daily Star Sunday says City will pay £25million to land Real Madrid defender Pepe after being snubbed by other major targets.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini will not dither in his search for a partner for City captain Vincent Kompany.

Pellegrini, a former Real boss, knows all about Pepe's strength and knows the defender, 31, will find it difficult dislodging Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.
