Manchester City have approached Malaga to open talks over the signing of Willy Caballero.

Spanish sources say City have made their interest in Caballero known to the La Liga outfit.

Malaga are said to be holding out for a 20million euros (£16.8m) release clause, but City are only willing to pay half that amount.
