Manchester City have opened the bidding for Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli.
The Daily Mail says City boss Roberto Mancini is keen to add a striker to the squad and has a number of targets.
Among them is Inter Milan bad boy Balotelli, with reports in Italy claiming that City had already put a £21m offer on the table.
Inter are said to be holding out for closer to £35m and would prefer a swap with Carlos Tevez, which City insist is not an option.
